I have added it through the top PTO cover bolt. Some park truck tilted and add it through the bottom PTO cover bolt.

Through the shifter tower is the best way. Talked to blumenthals last week and they are now recommending 8 quarts total on the 5600, which is 3 over. Said they had been doing this awhile and haven't had a single one leak. They said it will hold 13 before it runs out the output shaft, just to let you know how much room is still in there even with 8. The 5600 has a hard time staying cool so they keep adding more fluid till they find the point where it will start to push fluid past the seals.

Yep, running 10 qts in the 5600 I bought from them... with 2 fast coolers I got through them.

How does your shift right now? Mine is hard to get in some gears and on mornings where it's cold (like this morning when it was 0) it's almost impossible to get into 2nd. I've got 83,000 on the truck and the transmission fluid was changed at 60,000 using amsoil. It didin't help at all so next time I will be trying Redline.
