How to take a partial quote in thread?

Added abreviation defination page.

I was wondering how to do a partial quote by just taking a short line or sentence out of a post when using the quote function instead of using the whole quote which some are quite long?

Second how do you find the link address to another thread or post and insert it into a post?

I just delete the part I don't want to show

Left click and highlight the portion you want to quote, right click and copy. Open up a reply, right click and paste, highlight again and click on the quote icon.

First find the thread you want, highlight the http address in the address bar, and copy. Then go to the "insert hyperlink" icon, click it. You will fill in what you want the text to say on the thread, ie-"look here", then paste the link address in the next pane. When you see how it works, it's easy. Someone else will probably chime in and show a better way. Good luck!
