I know this has been talked about in the past, and I remmeber them saying to get a kit to extend the valves.

Well I got one at a local RV store, but it will not work on the Dodge wheel/covers.

Where or who has some that work with the stock Dodge wheel covers of a 2001 3500?

TIA

I don't think the extended valves are the way to to, seem to remember several members complaining of the extend lines being torn off. I just went to local speed shop and picked up a truckers air pressure gauge. It's about one foot long and will reach the inner valve stem with no problem, the hardest part, for me at least, is getting my hand in there to remove the cap. They also make an air chuck, shaped similarly, that will reach in the inner tire to add air. You could probably pick these up at any auto parts store.

The rear valve stem extenders work great. . The are easy to attach to your Dodge. They come with two different brackets. One goes under one of the axle bolts( no hubcap style) the other you just rivet to your cap at 180 degrees apart.

The extended tire gauge is great too but the extentions are very easy to install and use... ... ... ... . Pete

Mine have never been torn off, but I have read about that, also.

The only trouble I have had is while on the dyno... my right rear wheel was bouncing up and down, completely off of the rollers. It was too crowded to do anything about it. I must have had the things mounted so as to knock the wheels out of balance.

If you doubt this can happen, ask Andy... he was quite concerned about it and the effect it was having on my dyno run.

I think I would buy them again... it makes air much easier to use. Camper world sells them very reasonable.
