What are benefits of BHAF

Well the dd2s just cant give the fuel I NEED! I like what I have read about the EDMs but I need more feedback on the results. I'm looking at about a 140hp injector.

Who should I buy them from?

John Russin is the owner and research person of this business. He supplies a lot of BIG HP pullers and racers with parts.

Is any body else running Don Morrison EDMs besides Kurt Yardley, Eric Howard, Mike Dransfield? Any of you guys have any thing to say?

I'm curious too. I haven't seen much info on the EDMs posted lately. The claims of less smoke at the same power level is enticing, but I don't wan't my truck to be part of someone's R&D(yet). What's the word on reliability so far?

I don't have a whole lot of time right now... ... ... the weather has FINALLY been decent for more then a day... ... ..... and boy these injectors are fun.

The winter weather has been hurting my evaluation... ... . fuel milage has been down to about 13. 5mpg (from 16mpg)but thats due to the recent forced use of 4 wheel drive, and I also had the high idle reflash performed in February. Last couple of days fuel milage seemed to return to normal, I'll know for sure when I fill up Mon or Tues, still running blended fuel.

Right now all I can say is these damn things are fun.

However based on my experience... ..... I'd be careful of going with the Level 4 or higher for daily wintery duty, its doable but you have to be careful and pay close attention to the road conditions.

March 29th I should have new 1/4 mile E/T.

I'll try to brainstorm a better post at work tonight and post tommorrow... ... ... ..... all I can say is I am happy.

Eric, I don't see what the big problem is, I did a full stop and take off a few weeks back and the Runway was dry, maybe you need a better test track, RWY at Omaha has a . 7 degree slope also so you can load the truck:D

Dons EDM's

We had a dyno meet last Sat. in Lewisville. With a set of medium EDM's my best run was 496/1101, using SAE correction factor.

Using the STD correction factor it was 519/1155. Everyone that dynoed Sat. were getting low numbers for their types of mods, due to the small drum dyno. I should have been over 500 using the SAE correction. As far as reliability. I have been very satisfied with Don's EDM's. The amount of smoke isnt bad considering the amount of power they deliver. They idle very smooth with no lope at all. The power comes on noticably quiker than the DD3's. Ive gained 50-60 HP over the DD3"s with the medium flowing EDM's.

All in all, I am very very happy with Don's product, and would highly recomend them for all that are wondering. :D :D :D

I can say that for 12 valve guys Budda does exactly what you ask for... and as far as 24 valve power guys, ask Doug(jetpilot 740+hp) Christian Roth( BD, 638hp no drugs)... .....

EDM'S

I just put a set of EDM injectors in my truck and they are awesome. I got them from J. R. Adkins and they are his Nuclear Nozzle stage 2's. From my seat of the pants meter, I making more power now then when I was running the Supermentals and the comp box on. I'm also making more boost now than when I had the comp on and the SM's. They idle very smoothly and I really don't notice any lope at idle. And the price on his injectors are very reasonable. If anyone's interested in a set of EDM's, give J. R a call I'm sure he can fix you up and he's a very nice guy to deal with.

Chipstien,

They do smoke, I guess it depends on how hard you push on the go pedal. These are pretty big injectors, but I had them made that way because I plan on running a twin turbo set-up from J. R. also. I pretty sure he can make any size injector that you need, big or small.

Bpostel,

what stage do his injectors go to?

what is considered a safe set?

what is max power that has/can be achieved with these new injectors?

My6EatsV8,

How did the engine/heads look on these major hp set-ups after some miles. I heard a RUMOR that christian couldn't drive the mega-badasss injectors daily. Do you have any info about high hp vs. daily drive ability. I realize there is consequences to making power but it would be great to know before hand.

Stefan,

1- The Nuclear Nozzles go to stage 5's.

The Black magics go to Stage 10's.

2- The Nuclear Nozzle Stage 2's are the highest power level that you would want to drive on the street.

3- We havent quite found that out yet!

4- If you have any other questions you can post them here or PM me. Thanks.

J. R.
