How did you celebrate the new year?

Ten years ago I bought an 87 Honda fourman 4x4 350cc. First thing that I was gonna do is install a plow. So I ordered some plow mounts. Then bought a 1000 lbs winch. Pops built the actual plow. Weight was an issue. I needed a lot more weight. So I can carry about 300 lbs of weight. Then got a hold of some used chains for the tires.

Its so much easier to manuver in tight spots with this little atv. Only bad thing. When its really cold and windy. No warm cab to sit in. Ya I could put a cab on. But they are ugly.

I the spring time I switch blades so I can level out the ruts in the drive way. I use a big metal shear blade off a shear press. Made out of carbon steel. Doe such a nice job of grading.

I use my quad too. Best thing i ever bought. I have a Bombardeir Outlander 400 and it will push a 5ft blade through 10" of snow without a problem. I have my plow hooked up to the winch, and have about an extra 75lbs of weight on it so it scrapes good. ;) plus it's fun :D

I bought a 03 Kawasaki Praire 650 and since I don't live at home with the parents anymore they decided it should stay at their house to clean snow  Anyhow, I can't complain since my dad purchased a Warn 2500 lb winch and 48" plow for it. I pushed snow in our last snowstorm (6") since I was home and boy it was fun. Now I'm hoping it will snow over Thanksgiving so I can go out and play some more and see how the new 26" Dirt Devil XT's tires I bought perform... Can't Wait and pleeeease let it snow!! :D

My snow mover is an '04 John Deere 5303 Turbo with a 72" loader. I can take the entire driveway in one pass... ... Oo.

i use something very similar to this... .

How do you move Snow?

I've got an older (about 40 yrs) Sears snowblower. It's held together with some home made parts, but still does the job.

Neighbor bought a new one from Sears last year, weighs half of what mine does, but it seems to move itself much better.

Guess it's time to make a new clutch for the beast!

Dad's moving snow with one of these: #ad

He's got a front mount 3pt hitch with a PTO. And an 8' 2 stage snowblower on the front. MI's Northern Lower Peninsula, better than 200" of snow annually.

Ummm, okay, . . .

'77 CJ7, fixed V-plow for sidewalks

'78 CJ7 front and back blade for narrow drives

Trackless 2 stage twin auger commercial blower

2 Bombardier SW48s with fixed V-plow for sidewalks

CTD as noted in signature

Cub Cad 782 (red ones) with dual IH 26LB weights on the rear and a suitcase weight rack on back... and the 54" blade of course. Tire chains usually help too.
