You for got the most important option in the poll.

Give it back to the Gov.

Our rebate will basically break us even with what we had to pay in. Plus my wife is a small business owner who pays quarterly taxes so it will get here in time for her to pay part of this quarters taxes. #@$%!

"Save it for fuel" is not a realistic option for me at this time, I need fuel now, I will use it to fill my truck as far as it will go. bg

This is my situation. What we are getting back with what we paid in is basically a wash.

The actual money will go to pay off some credit card debt we have. Slowly working our way out of debt!!

we're getting back less than half of what we owed... notice I didn't say "what we paid" because the $2500 we owed at the end of the year was a drop in the bucket compared to what we PAID all year!

I'm doing to do what I always do with money... save it. thankfully $1200 doesn't really change my annual budget much in either direction.

but I'm definately not going to go out and spend it all as a "thank you" to uncle sam for "helping" us out

If we spend it at Walmart, the money will go to China . If we spend it on gasoline, the money will go to the opec . If we purchase a computer it will go to India . If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico , Honduras and Guatemala . If we purchase a good car, it will go to Japan . If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep the money here at home is to buy prostitutes, weed, beer and tattoos since these are the only products still produced in the USA . Please support the US .

IF I got one I'd save it to pay 2008 taxes. I'm one of those poor souls who make enough to pay the highest percentage of taxes but not enough to hide it. #@$%!
