Not happy about losing another American brand, same way we lost all the others including Chrysler. Sad.

Mack has been Volvo Group for years now.
Paccar has owned Euro companies for years now.
Navistar has been financially dumb for years now. Let VW Group have them. Can’t get a whole lot worse.

From an "America First" point of view, I just hate to see heavy industry, the type of might that allowed us to win WWII, being sopped up by foreign enterprise. Yes, it's a "global economy", etc., etc., etc., but that doesn't mean it's in the long-term interest of this country. With that said, my disdain for Navistar is pretty well known around here, so I wish VW well.

Cornbinder is slang for anything International Harvester/ Navistar. So since VW might be taking them, we’re trying for a new nickname with German influence. Also considering GM and Navistar just had a baby, GM is involved too.
