The senario is I had just came home from work, my truck was running fine. I was at home about 10 minutes and I starte to leave for a meeting. Truck started fine and I left the house. I stopped at signal light about 300 yards from my house. When I started totake off, the truck had no power, started bucking and died. I coasted into a BJs parking lot. I tried to start the truck but realized the lift pump was not working. I checked the codes and I have an 0230 low voltage to fuel transfer pump. I jumpered the fuel pump and it seems to work good. I tried to bleed the lines while the pump was jumpered. The truck tries to start but appears to have a fueling issue. After several hours of looking at the manual and not finding a technic to check the electrical to the transfer pump, I am again asking for the TDR advice on this one.

I don't know how this is related but the fuel pressure is low when the pump is jumpered. The fuel appears to have air bubbles coming out of the lines at the injectors.

I appreciate any advice on this one. I am dead in the water at home and today is still a work day.

Code and low pressure

The fuel transfer pump is probably bad(since you are giving it a full 12 volts) or the ECM is sending the transfer pump incorrect voltage, could be bad ground also.

On my code sheet it states that 230= transfer pump circuit out of range. Which is about the same thing as low voltage to it.

Air

You have a rubber line for a return line to the tank some where near the engine check for cracks in it. This line could be sucking air.
