How does Smarty compare to BDDL??

I have the Triple Dog now, been thinking about giving it back to Bully Dog (30 day trial) and buying the Smarty. Does the Smarty have the same features as the Triple Dog in terms of high idle, fog lights with high beams, seat belt minder? Maybe it will stack better with the JUICE?

no comparison between the two i got rid of my bdtd for the smarty. and will never look back. not sure if it has the all of the features of the triple dog but it does do the idle up. also it can read codes, change tire size.



but power wise smarty hands down. cant compare them at all.

The Smarty smoked more on the bottem end but I had more power with the bully dog. Plus since the minute I loaded the Smarty on my truck I've had timing issues and I wasn't impressed like I was with a buddys 04 with the Smarty. From talking to different diesel shops the Smarty is kind of hit and miss on trucks... But what isn't on these things :-laf

I have both at the moment. The Smarty software comes with the cruise control high idle enabled. It can adjust for tire size, it cannot do anything with the the other features you mentioned that the Triple Dog can do. As far as power comparison I don't know. The dealer flashed my truck with the new AQ flash and I cannot load the Smarty until the software is updated for it. I have not tried to reload the Triple Dog since the dealer flash.

It is dodges newest flash for hard start, white smoke, bugs on windshield, and poor cigarette lighter perfromance . Actually I'm not sure of all the things it is for but i was talking to them about fuel mileage and they said they would flash it with the new flash. It is a string of numbers followed by AQ (software version, not the tsb number)

Well, I got a smarty for my personal truck and it was by far better than the bullydog. So far 6 of my customers have tried it and six of them bought one, they all are calling me constantly to tell me how awesome it is and fuel mileage is up. So i have a stack of bullydog triple dogs and pups for sale if anybody wants one. Hands down, GET THE SMARTY!!!!!!!!!

Can the BDDL be stacked with smarty? What stacks well with smarty? I'm a 2nd gen guy, but my Bro has a 04. 5 & Is thinking of trying something different. He now has the BDDL & EZ stack.

I have both and have chosen the Smarty over the BDTD. My dyno #s and track ETs are both better with the Smarty and mileage is also better.
