Every time I here that ding, it's like unwrapping Christmas presents when I look up the codes. Well, this time I got a fruitcake and a sweater-
P0008
P026A.

I guess all I can really check here are the fins. None of the fins are bent, broken or damaged. Cooler is clean of debris too. Hopefully the dealer will find something Tuesday.

At least they are wiring/computer codes.....they seem to be much easier to diagnose than emissions system faults. Good luck at the dealer!

My truck set the p0008 code. 2500 miles on it. Mpg went down by 2. The tech said when he hooked it up the cam sensor wasn't giving a clean signal - it had a flutter to use his description. So he replaced the sensor and updated the computer. Back to 18 - 20mpg. The dealership in Ronan, Mt is a small one but the service people there are great and the mechanic they have working on the diesels is well educated - after talking to him he clearly knows a thing or two about these trucks. What a pleasure this visit was.
