How do you use your RAM?

To and from Work, groceries, running around in. No towing or hauling.

Professionally on the Job contractor, construction, Towing or hauling.

Carrying loads like campers, Motorcycles, snowmobiles, things that won’t fit in a car or SUV.

Pulling loads like 5th wheels, trailers, Ford and Chevy’s.

As your do everything vehicle.

1) I drive mine to work everyday.

2) More times than not I'm towing a large goosneck. Today's load (truck+trailer+load) totaled in at 29,470 pounds on the truck scale . I kinda suprised myself with this one. The overloads weren't even close to bottomed out!

3) Most of the time I'm in 4x4 trying to get to work. I'm in the logging profession so I mostly work down long dirt roads (lately they've been mud about 3 feet deep).

I drive to and from work daily, 33 miles each way, but only to support my farming/ranching habit...

Otherwise, hauling hay, both on the flatbed and on a 24ft gooseneck flatbed, hauling horses, etc. , or just taking fuel (110 gal tank on bed) and tools out to the tractor when doing custom farming. :D

Got a Company Durango for work...

Wife's got her own turbo...

Guess we use the Ram for pleasure- camping and towing around the toys (steam locomotives:eek: )

All purpose all around vehicle

:) I use the 3500 for all around driving and it really earns it's keep the best when I am towing my fifth wheel. Actually, it is cheaper to run and get's better mileage than my son's Ford Ranger his brothers Nissan Pathfinder. :)

Ed

I commute 40 miles into downtown Seattle each day, that's about all I do with my truck. It's damn near impossible to park, and I get some nasty looks from the hippies in their econo-boxes, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Used to get cut off a lot in traffic, but the deer-strainer bumper has reduced that a lot. The daring ones who still try, get to hear the Grovers a few feet from their ears.

Occasionally I help someone move stuff or get some sheet goods and lumber from the local Home Depot, and the longbed is sure handy for that.

My 96 dualie is my hot rod, show and tow truck. My 99 2500 is my work, construction haul everything truck and has the dents and scratches to prove it. :D
