How long before rear end trashed?

I had my truck towed on a flatbed recently because I did want to ruin the rearend. Had I been in an area with no cell reception, how far(and I won't hold anyone's feet to the fire)could I drive with a 265 on one side and a 315 on the other without incurring severe damage to the rearend?

Next time just take a front tire off, install on the rear and put the small spare on the front. I would not run a mis-match combo of that size on the rear, so you did good by hauling it.
