How long old posts are kept?

I was checking for some old posts but notice mine only go back to December at 500 posts (I've been on here too much lately).



Just wondering how far back the website keeps your posts and, above a certain limit, to they just get deleted to save space?

Posts are kept forever. Searches only return a max of 500 results however. So if you want to go back older than that on a search you need to change the date range to the date of the last post that comes up on your search, then you'll get another 500 after that.
