ive had a stg 3 pump on order from a shop since march  ive been in contact with the owner several times, he has even gone out of his way to shoot me an email saying he is currently building mine, and i shuld see it by next weekend. that was several months ago, and now he wont return my calls emails etc.

i wont name names, but those fermiliar with pump shops and there delivery times prob know who im talking about.

any ways, its makeing me verry discouraged, and im thinking about detuneing the truck. back in march when i rolled 574, i was on 90 hp stix, with news of the pump being on the way i bumped them to 120's. the prob is that i get rail drain bad, i used to be able to run #5 and only get poping if i snaped the throttle, now i get it on 1 if i snap it... id drop down to revo, but then the truck wont turn 4k

short story long... . how long shuld i be expected to wait after being misled about delivery times?

I only hope you didn't front the guy any money or he has a core pump of yours. Time to find someone else. This guy is STROKING you!

We've sent pumps out to a "pump shop" who is certified by the OEM engine builder... . a bosch pump goes to an approved Bosch Pump shop, etc.....

We've often gotten an exchange pump the same day or at the most waited 2 days...

Remember, most of these guys also work on Class 8 stuff as we do... we do compressors, clutches, friction etc... most of the Class 8 shops won't wait more than 24 hours... If you don't have it now or can't do it today than they will normally pay UPS RED delivery charges and get it from someone else... (read, they throw lots of money at it)

We do custom work, as well as specials, and custom order. . we don't bill a customer until the product is delivered... We always turn that work around in less than 2 days or identify to the customer why its taking a day or two longer... . (parts ordered ec) in the same breath I have several thousand dollars tied up in stuff we've done over the years that was never claimed... WE DO track them by name, address and phone... I know that a tractor, CAT, grader, loader, can't be together as we have the crucial part that was never picked up... After 3 months we send the customer a letter, and at 4 months we put these parts on a table and sell them to the first customer who walks through the door who say's he can use the parts... I know this sounds harsh but after 2-3 phone calls and written notes we need to move on... .

I do have memories of a gent walking in after 13 or 14 months looking for that clutch out of his antique car, which I know was un-replaceable and we spent over an hour looking and finding it, stashed on a shelf in a plastic bag... it wasn't tagged like it should have been... .

That's another side of the story.....
