There's some good info over there but I sure get tired reading about lift pumps. Guess they could say the same about kdp threads here, but I see they have an interesting kdp thread going there now.

24 valves

I read it once and a while. It makes me real glad I've got a 12 valve with a "stupid pump". I'm a firm believer in keeping it simple:D

The question is...

How many 24V'ers read the 12V forum. I had a choice, a 98 club cab 12V, or a 99 quad cab 24V. Identical trucks almost, same miles, same color. My only thinking at the time was how I wouldn't want to fix a KDP problem. I would have gladly fixed 10 KDP's for all the headache I've been through so far in only two months. And yes, one headache was my dead lift pump. Another is the fact that I may still have the KDP problem. And that cool smoke is so much easier to come by on 12V trucks. I think I'm gonna go cry now... :{ But hey, at least were all in the same big [Cummins] boat... :)

PS: Dont tell the 24V forum I was over here... shhhh.

I always do because there is always something in there that is relatively useful to us. Plus I catch a lot of Stack Post's in there. :D

I've got one of each. My 96 is my toy puller with about 325 hp. My 99 is my hot rod-about 450 hp. My 96 (129,000 miles now) has been back to dodge 18 times (16 under extended warranty). My 99 (80,000 miles now) has been in once-for the power seat. Go figure.

Didn't used to read it as much, but now that I've ventured over to the overvalved side... ... ... ... ... .

I voted no as I may have looked at the 24 V forum twice since I joined. As I am new and trying to learn about my 12V and just don't have the time to view all forums. Maybe when I catch up in 2012.
