How many companies making "free wheel front hubs" for our trucks?

Looks like a small money train may be coming my way. (I bought some NOS early VW performance parts in the late 80's and selling them off at a NICE profit!Oo. )
I want to put some free wheel front hubs on my truck but want to research ALL of them before buying.
1) Who makes them and how many manufacturers?
2) What does each style cost?
3) Which type do you run and why?
Thanks

Do a search here on TDR (front hubs) and you will find a lot of info.

I have several posts in there re: my EMF Off Road kit.

Good Luck, Ray

Dynaloc hub option.

My buddy went with Dynatrac's system w/Dynaloc hubs on his '07. These hubs stick out probably 3/4" less.

1 1/2 years on EMS Off road, No Problems. .

Best mod I have made. With a truck camper in back country,
2 wheel low is GREAT???

I went Dynaloc and used their hubs. The are "in-board" of the tires and not prone to damage, like others which protrude from the outside of the tire. I've never been disappointed by Dynaloc's stuff.

I think Yukon gear makes a set available through Summit Racing.
I chose the Spyntecs because they use all standard Dana 60 parts. These are the long hubs. Right after I did it, they came out with the short ones. I have no regrets. I did it for the obvious reasons and being able to overhaul them is likely the biggest reason. It's a quality kit with quality components that I was able to buy locally for $1550 cash no shipping, just a hour ride. I've posted about it in the past.

Motorhead, the DynaTrac kit is the only one that uses only US sourced parts that still should be available in the future.
I bought mine from George at 8Lug TruckGear…he distributes several different brands of free skin hub kits and will readily take the time to answer any and all questions that you may have about them.

You guys realize this thread is over 7 years old. I'm guessing Motorhead has made his decision by now (hint: the Dynatrac hubs listed in his sig is a giveaway)
