Hey Guy's Talking with a Ford Fan and he was claiming that there isn't any high Miles Cummin's truck's I told him to come here but he's NotSmart Enough to look it up . So How Many truck's do we have with over 300,000 to a Million miles and still going .All Year's ?

Had a blizzard last night in fact the warning is still in effect. After I shoveled two feet of snow out of my driveway drove on in to work this morning in my 01 2500 4x4 with 330,000 miles on it got me here no problem. I know 330k is not that high of miles as there are plenty on here with more than that but the most miles I have ever had on a vehicle.

The guy must just like to argue, and be brand blind.. It's not very hard these days to find any of the big 3 with 250k + miles.. Tell the moron to pay close attention to the hot shot rigs, rv transporters, and car hauler's going up and down the highway making a living for some soul with bills to pay.. Ask him what the odds are those trucks are low mileage, then ask him about what percentage of them he thinks are dodges.. I would guess what i count on a daily basis, the percentage is about 50..

Your Ferd guy is smoking crack. There are lots and lots of super-high mile CTDs. My buddy has an '03 with 370K. EB(on TDR)has a C&C with well over 500K.

My engine, 1995 12V, has just over 500K on it. Never had the head off, uses no oil, got 22 MPG last tank. Never dyno'd but I'm going to say she's putting down right at 350HP.

My 92 had 350,000 + on it when I sold it and my 04 had 398,000 when my buddy bought it. Neither used any oil between changes. 1 water pump on the 92 and 1 water pump and tensioner on the 04. The 04 was preventative maint, no leak or belt problems.

Ford, guys rarely make it to 250k without HEAVY engine work. Can anybody say timing cover? I've seen many a 6.4 puke antifreeze into the oil at 45k miles.......with 2500 hours of idle time.

I have a similar vocabulary and use it in a creative fashion when needed. I hook all kinds of those words together depending on what has happened and how bad I have just wounded myself. HOWEVER I would never release a video that had my creative speech in it......

If someone had recorded me the morning I slipped and fell out of my big delivery truck (dislocated shoulder and tore up my rotator cuff) his cussing would have sounded like a grade schooler reciting the ABC's in comparison.......just sayin'........:D

I believe that the snow turned blue that morning....

I resemble that remark. I was cringing while listening, but at the same time thinking, GEEZ is that what I sound like?! It's not a habit I am proud of, but I do control myself in mixed company.

I do have a good friend with a '95 F350 PowerStroke that has 950K miles on it. Never been into the engine. Yes, he's replaced injectors, water pumps, fuel pumps, sensors, maybe even an HPOP, but never into the engine itself. He's also the best Ford diesel tech I've ever known.

Getting high miles out of a 7.3 or it predecessors, generally wasn't an issue with reasonable care.. The 6.0 and 6.4 were a gamble, the new 6.7 seems to be ok, with a few exceptions.. Apparently there has been enough exceptions to do some redesigning on the engine, and especially the inj pump, but time will tell..

Yep, the first year of the 6.7 powerstroke was not kind to me....or the torque shift trans that went into neutral frequently. Mine only went 10,756 miles and subsequently ate three turbos and two complete engines without a smoking gun as far as failures go. The last time it blew up it got traded in immediately on a cummins. Poor SOB that ended up with it has been back to the ford barn many times since. No more stroke flavored koolaid for me!
