how do you put 500k on a four year old truck?!?

let's apply some math:

assuming an average speed of 55mph. .

554,000/55 = 10072 hours

say you drive 8 hours/day...

10072/8 = 1259 days

... that's 8 hours a day, 365 days a year... for 3 3/4 years!!

wow! a driving machine!

Just got back from Irvine, Ca. I lost my Ac compressor clutch hub bearing. Went to autozone and pick up a new belt to bypass the compressor. Worked great.

Who averages only 55mph and only drives 8 hours a day? I met a transporter in Evanston, Wy who had a 14 day old 04 with just a little over 11k on the clock. He was towing a 30+ ft Montana 5er that weighed, (my estimate), about 10k and had passed me while I was doing 75 on I80. He told me his trade-in was an 03 with over 200k on it and I believe him.

Driving is believing

GAmes, good input.

from Ohio to Tx once a month.

Ok? you do the math. :p

Jerry,

what sort of 'long haul comforts' have you added to you truck? Air ride seat? Satellite radio?

What about fuel economy?

thanks,
