whew ... if i still drank i'd have to have a glass of 'shine to celebrate :-laf

Only 19k on mine, drive a beater to work, but i have logged 400000+miles driving Ford company vehicles(7. 3 diesels). ----Oh yes its taken 2 of them to reach that mark, and there pretty tired by about 200k. The boss is talking new trucks soon, but they always go with the CHEAPEST,not the BEST, i keep telling him to buy the Cummins but hey sitting behind that desk all day---he know best. ;) ;)DW

180,000 on the 93 164,100 on the 01 right now and less than 2,000 on the 06, I plan on keeping the 01 for a long time so we'll see what happens for mileage.

i am fairly new to mine, bought it 15 months ago with 304k miles and am about to roll over 318k, would be more but it's not my primary ride

215,500 on my '01... . 85k on my '96,less than 15k on my first '92 when Chrysler took it back... . gave me a BRAND NEW '93 xtra cab 4x4... . i put 28k on that one before selling it... had another '92 (used) which i put about 65k or more on it before purchasing the '01. wow..... 5 diesels since '92... had a gasser or 2 in between rams as well... ... '01 seems to be the best one yet IMHO... . think i'll keep it another 200k... lol... ... tom

No big secret on the vp-44. no power increases over stock, 4 to 6 oz of mmo and 4 oz of howes meaner in every tank. fuel filter fleetgard changed at 12000k. fuel pressure gauge to monitor pressure, lift pump changed when pressure less than 8 psi pre filter. this is one of the early vp-44s which does not have any of the improvements. Truck is a daily driver and only hauls my 10x6 cargo trailer, about 3000lbs.

I bought my first CTD soon after joining TDR, a '98. 5 in Oct. 1999. Since then I have logged:

10500 on my '98 (traded March '00 for my '01 HO)

87700 on my '01 (traded March '03 for my '03 HO)

34000 on my '03 (sold Aug. '04, now owned by Maverick)

49200 on my '96 (currently own)

15600 on my '98 (currently own)

197,000 TOTAL in 7yrs 2 mos. That's 27,488 miles a year, an average that has varied very little from year to year since 1999.
