How many quarts in transfer case?

i have a 2006 ram 2500 g56 and i want to replace the fluid in the transfer case but i dont know how many quarts it takes? someone help.

Till it comes out the fill hole, usually a bit under 4 qts. IIRC.

2 qts will fill to the top.

thanks, i have a gallon of amsoil atf. should be enough.

your welcome, use the extra ATF for your G56 oil change or for your Power Steering. I can usually get 16 oz out of the PS, I swap it out once a year.
