How Many Quarts???

Can anyone tell me how many Quarts go in the 11. 5 rear end, and the 9. 5 front? I know it is supposed to be a 1/4" below the filler hole, I just wanted to know how many QUARTS that is?

Someone asked this on the forums and I recall that it was answered but cant find the thread. I need to find it for the rear only as mine is a 4x2, but if someone finds it could you post the figures agn? I think they also had the amount if you use the Mag Hy-Tec cover.

PS: am still looking for a place to mount the Painless wiring (waterproof) box... . any ideas?





PPS: just found the one that w/Mag cvr uses 7. 5qts for rear. Still looking

The front axle takes 4. 75 pints (2. 4 quarts) and the 11. 5 rear axle takes 7. 65 pints (3. 8 quarts). Hope that helps ya.

Does the front end have a reusable gasket like the rear end ?
