Happy Birthday Steve St.Laurent

Specific gravity of various liquids

Perusing the HK website, I see that consumer versions are listed with 13 round and even 15 round capacity.

Is the 10-round limit dead? Did it expire or something?

What's with the "ban" vs. "pre-ban" and all that crap?

I'm looking at getting a handgun but the legalese is tripping me up.

Right now, I'm looking at an HK P2000 in 9mm

Thanks.

The ban on Hi-cap mags died about a year and half ago. Well in the United States of America it died. So you can carry 10 rounders or 15 rounders. I bought 2 13 rounders for my HK usp compact(nice guns HKs) after the ban,s sun set. They even say LEO only on them. If you liveout side the United States in the peoples republic of Califorina,or the peoples republic of Massaachusetts and I think New York City you are not trusted with any thing more than 10 rounds.

awbansunset.com is a good site...

There is no such thing as pre ban and post ban anymore. As long as you are under federal law, you can have a 1000 round clip on your glock if you want...

In MA we still have the ban, so there is still pre ban high cap, which you can legally purchase/use. Anything post ban has to be 10 or less and that is all you can purchase as well, only pre ban high cap is legal in MA, so you cannot go to the next state over and buy a high cap mag that was made after the ban.
