I was wondering what prices you people pay for your oil and filter etc?

In my diesel I currently use the Amsoil Series 3000 5W-30 at $6. 25/qt or $71. 40/case. I have also used the 15W-40 Heavy Duty Oil at $3. 80/qt and $43. 20/case. I use the SDF 34 filter at $7. 00.

I also use the Amsoil Diesel Fuel Modifier at $3. 75 per 16oz and treats 40 gallons, last me 4 fillups, and use the Amsoil Cetanne Booster at $4. 35 per can and treats up to 200 gallons.

In my Blazer, I have used the Series 2000 0W-30 at $6. 25/qt or $71. 40/case. And currrently us the 10W-40 at $4. 30/qt and $49. 20/case.

The initial cost is higher up front but my Blazer oil is changed once every 25,000 miles with filter changes at 12,500 miles. I have 165,000 miles on the Blazer so far.

So how much are you people paying?

No brand wars on this thread!!!

I have the Dodge dealer do it for me every 3K miles... total cost for lube, PB Valvolene, filter and 30 or so minutes is 43 dollars. Hard to beat!

Is this meant to be an advertisementVWTdi? If not, why are your posting this information? Please check the forum guidelines. The other Amsoil dealers don't do this type of thing. Let's be fair.

I'm not an Amsoil dealer.
