I'm planning to install a TST plate (maybe #10 to #6) but need to know how much boost to expect before ordering a boost gauge. I don't really plan to add any other aggressive fueling upgrades in the future - but you never know.

Can I get away with the 0-35 boost gauge or do I need the 0 to 60?

Was going to order Autometer Phantom but they only have 0-35 psi in this line - what's with that???

Thanks much.

Paul

Ok - so the 0-35 is out - anyone know where the Phantom 0-60 can be purchased. I've only seen 0 - 35 on Geno's etc. , but Autometer shows a 0-60 on their website.

Can I have my cake and eat it too!

Thanks.

I have the Genos catalog and on page 4, there are several options.

Z-Series AM-2617 47. 95

Ultra Series AM-4305 46. 95

ISSPRO

Black/White ISS-R5623R 46. 00

White/Blue ISS-R6723 46. 00

Di-Pricol Di-Boost060-B 46. 00 blk

-W2 White

all of these are 60 psi guages

I'd recommend making this a one time purchase. I bought a 35psi guage. I can peg it out with my valet switch on. That was novel for a while, and still is kinda fun to show the ricer guys, I wish I would have bought the 60psi guage.

Thanks all for the information - very helpfull.

FYI - Autometer is releasing boost gauge 5705 (Phantom)this week which is 0-60 psi.

I will try to get this from Geno's as Autometer says shipments start midweek to all AM dealers.

If not then I'll get the DiPricol set which has 0-60 boost gauge. Only question on the Dipricol EGT is the response time - saw it is much slower to respond than others - but not sure if it will make a difference in actual driving conditions (see TDR ISSUE #34 artical in sample artical on this home page).
