Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) How much boost?

My truck max's out at about 21-22 lbs. of boost, is this about the right amount for a stock SO CTD? I bought the truck new and it has run fine, just had the gages installed and can now check the boost.

Yes that is right on the money for stock.

After 22#s the ecm defuels, In the case of larger injectors the ecm will backdown the fuel intill the boost falls below 22 again on and on as long as you hold the pedal. Your next mod would be a timing box such as an Edge EZ that fools the ecm and lets the boost go as high as you want, and a turnbuckle that allows you to ajust peak boost higher.
