How much boost should I be seeing on my 2001. 5 ?

It has a Dynomax straight thru muffler ,WD airfilter,an Edge EZ and a turnbuckle on the wastegate.

I'm currently getting 23 pounds of boost.

It is an Isspro gauge.

I was accelarating (sp) from a slow roll up to around 60.

Maybe the turnbuckle thing isn't adjusted right.

Well I guess a erased that post, I ment to erase the "a little low part" I realized that there are just to many variables different between how my truck was set up with the EZ and yours is. With a stock exhaust with the dynomax and the WD filter that might be about right. What setting is your EZ on? With an analog gauge it is very tough to figure the peak pressure as the max spick happens so fast. The tell-tale on my SPA alway shows about a pound more then I have seen flash by.

Try adjusting the turnbuckle and see if it does anything. And always check your exhaust manafold bolts and intercooler hoses once in a while to make sure you are getting full air to the engine.

I will check all that.

the EZ is on whatever setting they send it on. I didn't adjust anything.

I thought I would be getting closer to 28 also.

My egt's don't seem too high, I have yet to get it over 900 (haven't towed yet) and just cruising they are around 550-600 . . does this sound normal?

You need more more more. I used to see 30-32 with just my 275's and my EZ. But now I have ot restricted at 47 (look at my sig) I had my wastegate shutoff fore about 5 minutes until I saw 52 and rising and I backed out of her cause I got some since but not much.

I just checked everything for leaks and can't get really adjust the turnbuckle any tighter . I didn't find anything wrong.

Ok, so no apparent leaks... Do you know for sure that the gauge readout is correct? May be worthwhile checking the calibration is within normal tolerances?

It might also be worthwhile checking (briefly and very carefully) to see if there is any discernible difference in your intake air supply, and measured boost levels by temporarily disconnecting the airfilter/box - notice I said briefly and very carefully, you don't want to suck anything other than air into your Turbo!!
