Duramax is getting better

I did it! Banned from the Ferd site!

What ratio (i. e. , 100:1) do you mix Standyne at? Or Powerservice?

I'm going to start adding a lubricity enhancer to my fuel and wonder what everyone is using as a ratio?

Already run this by an 'oil guy' but want to know how much everyone else is adding.

It shouldnt need much  just to make the fuel lubricate the pump and injectors

They're all a little different as far as ratio. I just give a double shot the first time and then the recommended ratio that they print on the bottle after that.

30 gal = 3840 oz so 3840/32 = 120:1

My outboard (2 cycle) runs on 50-100:1.

So I figured 100:1 as the most 'oil' I would want to add.

120:1 will definately lube up the fuel but to keep cost down I wonder what the other end is as far as not enough 'oil' to help.

I want to add a low ash synthetic 2 cycle engine oil only for lubricity sake.

I was told (rumor  ) that PS contains alcohol, any idea if that is true?

I have a 12 oz bottle I fill half and half with PS Diesel Kleen (silver jug), and synthetic blend 2-stroke oil per tank of fuel - only 23,000 miles, 2 years so far, but all is well...

3840/12=320:1. That is the same ratio as the oil guy suggested.

Guess I'll go with that, especially since you are in the same thought pattern (synthetic 2 cycle oil)
