How much do you spend on the lottery?

I was in the gas station getting some pop and gum. Had to wait for some fat guy blow $85 on lottery tickets! Paid with a $100 bill. Some print off state lotto and some scratch off tics. Stood there for about ten minutes.



What a joke.

I only buy when the pot gets large, and then only spend $5. 00.

I had a friend in Illinois that was a banker and he had a lady come in and ask him to stop loaning her husband money. He learned why when she took him out to the car and showed him the trunk full of lottery tickets.

Darn close. On a scale of 0 - 1, 1/6,000,000 is pretty close to 0. 0000000, but "I'm feeling lucky".

Yet somehow SOME peole JUST CAN'T FIGURE OUT how they never seem to get ahead...





Surely this mystery could be solved?



The Lotto IS a tax on the stupid. I've spent $3 total in my life on $1 lotto tix, fully expecting that money just to be donation to the Kindergarten programs they fund with it.

this is an interesting topic, my answer is when it breaks the odds of winning,ie 135 million to 1 I buy 1 ticket for every million.



If its at 167 million I buy 167 tickets, sometimes i buy 1 extra.



This idea does semm to blow peoples mind.



I had a manager the other day make a statement about how stupid people are that buying 2 tickets will DOUBLE their Chances. That guy needs to be fired if he cant understand that buying 2 tickets instead of one DOUBLES your chances. Buying 3 tickest instead of 1 triples your chances and so forth



I dread when that baby hits 600 Mill. its going to cost me 600$ and that is my story and I am sticking to it

well, i spent $10 today for tomorrows $30M super7 draw... pop spent that much 2 weeks ago and won a little over $150. 00 now he is using that towards the lotto, when it is gone he is done.
