A friend of mine dropped by the local Cummins shop to get some oil filters and saw a dyno in there. One cummins employee said cost would be $100 and another said $150 for a run. what does a run on a dyno usually cost?
Dyno days here have been $40. 00 for 3 runs. That has been with a certain amount of trucks or more attending. At may Madness it was free thanks to Diesel Dynamics.
That's a pretty good price. Where are they located? My office is out of Damascus and we do work in the Howard County and the surrounding areas. It wouldn't be too far out of my way to go to Eldersburg.
lmills, First I was wrong on the spelling it is Kauffman Motorsports. Web address is www.kauffmanmotorsports.com. Call them up and mention thr TDR. They are about 10 miles north of Gettysburg, and a class act.
The place I had my truck Dynoed (Dynojet brand) charged $50 for 3 runs, or $75. 00 for a first visit, and also a second visit(figuring you would need a few days to add mods. ) I chose $75 because I wanted to add DD 2's to my 'EZ' to see what I'd get.
The shop recently 'went under' which makes me think they were not charging enough.
