Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) how much does the nv4500 weigh?

If I were to venture a guess I'd say about 170-200 lbs. for the transmission plus about 15-20 for the bellhousing. I've lifted a couple onto the bench by myself but if they were much heavier I wouldn't have.

Im pretty sure the 4500 is 196lbs.

I think the 5600 is 400lbs. could be wrong on that, though.

You guys are on the money. It seems a whole lot heavier when it's looming

over your head during an install.

I just put mine back in a couple of days ago. 20 some degrees at 2 in the morning lying on the ground outside. Snow all around. I must have rocks in my head.
