I know I posted a little while a go that I might be able to get my crubby little hands on a H2E. And I still can but an H1 just came into the picture. And while it is no secret that I am not the smartest feller around, I am gonna take a chance and ASSUME that the H1 is the step down and should require a little less HP to spool up decently. So if my ASSUMTION is correct, then how much HP are we talking? 300-350 or 350-400 or Higher yet?

TIA

Yeah, you'd think that Joe or Lawrence or Piers or somebuddy would have looked at one of those at least once.

Sorry, but I can't help. I'm going with a Schwitzer from Pius. It's just a fuzz larger than the 40, most like an H2E.

If'n I had to guess at it, I'd fuel the H1 like a 40, and adjust from there.

so your thinking 370's and a 10 or 11 plate would be plenty? atleast thats the plan on myside. And since I can HAVE this turbo for free I am not going to complain. It doesnt make since to go above those fueling mods in this truck due to the fact it's too heavy to drag, and doesnt have 4x4 so sled pulling is out of the question. This will be the truck that pulls the truck I am going to attempt to build next summer.

What exhaust housing does it have? It more than likely came off of a 8. 3 off road. And is intedned to be ran at WOT for long periods of time and thus has a large housing. I have one laying around that has a 26 housing.

This came off an 8. 3 like you said but this was an on-road application. And while I am not sure of the EXACT size of the ex. housing it's defenitly not a 26 infact if I had to make a somewhat educated guess I would say it's somewhere between my 16 that I have on and a 18. 5 more than likely the later. The ex. flange is for a 5" downpipe. But the truck this thing is sitting in still has a good down pipe and while the angle is a little different than our dodge's I firmly believe that it will fit in there and with a little cutting and welding almost the entire downpipe can be used on my truck.
