I am wanting to put a set of DDII's in my truck and run them in conjunction with an Edge EZ. I'm going to Canada in April to DTT to have Bill K do a trans for me. Guages are ordered.

Should I run the bigger banjo bolts through out?

Do I need to increase the line sizes between the body and the lift pump and inj pump?

I need some real answers if someone has some Data. Thanks.

With your setup, fuel pressure will likely be marginal. If you don't have a gauge, for peace of mind, install a line kit (not just banjo's). We found that 350hp was about the limit for the stock setup, and at 425 you need a pusher pump. That's the rule of thumb we go by.

Keith, Are you talking 350hp at the crankshaft or R. W. H. P. ? Who has these line kits and about how much$$$?

I was told that DDII's and an EZ was about 300 Rear Wheel HP.

I wanted to put the injectors in before going to Bill K on the 28th of this month. Do you think that I would be safe driving unloaded to Canada (about 2300mi round trip)? I would disconnect the EZ for the trip up as the trans is still stock. Bill K wants all mods on to set up the trans right.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TRANS TO BE DONE!!! I have been planning and SAVING for this since I purchased my truck! Chris

PS I looked at your site and it says that I need to change the turbo to run the DDIIS with the automatic. Do I have to do this right away and what would be the result if I didn't do the turbo.

Chris, you'll be just fine on your trip if you install the DDIIs now. Keep in mind how often you'll be at full throttle during that trip--probably a very, very small percentage of the time. If you're worried, since it's at higher throttle positions that the fuel pressure drops, just don't give it full throttle. :D

You'll be fine with your stock turbo for the short term as well, as long as you have EGT and boost gauges. With the bigger injectors and your stock turbo, you'll see that EGT climbs more quickly than before. Just keep a close eye on your EGTs and you'll be okay.

If you don't have any gauges though, I'd hold off on installing the injectors until you get to DTT.

Rear wheel numbers are all I use. You should be below this figure with your setup. We do sell those kits, but I don't think I can post the prices here.

Thanks guys for the info. I have some SPA guages coming from a new buisness in Michigan. I saved almost $200. 00 on two, Dual guages. I will have those installed before the trip to DTT. Hope the injectors too. Oo.

Keith, I'll P. M. you. Chris
