get in touch with wade, he is making all his power on a stock head, and his ET's estimate his hp to be close to 900... .....

Too bad the dyno didn't say the same thing. :D

You could also contact lmills - he's been well over 700 on a stock head, (dyno proven a couple of times), for a while now.

Sorry, Robert, I just had to. :D

I think you can make plenty of power with the stock head, RC Cox did over 1000 hp with it. I think they are just trying to sell you one of their heads

Big power can be made with a stock head. But if you have the coin heck you can build any motor to the moon to make the power making game easier and more reliable.

Mattymac, what does the type of induction system have to do with what the head will flow to make horsepower? The stock head is capable of alot of horsepower. I do not care to get into this motor power vs. nitrous debate again. My numbers can be replicated motor only. I would have to change my turbos to something huge and laggy and run about 80-100lbs. of boost. I chose the nitrous route to keep my smaller twins @ 55 lbs. of boost and keep the truck streetable. I have never posted my motor numbers and there are only a handful of people that know what they are. So how does anyone know how much nitrous I am spraying?I am a competetive person so if anyone thinks they have a common rail that can outpower me motor only,I will remove the bottle and show them whats up.

Thanks,

RC

in the power game i have to agree power is power no matter how you get there. its all part of the tuning process. for RC to make 1100HP plus is huge. no matter how he got it. JMHO
