How much have you spent on BOMBing?

A poll is a pretty good way to answer this question as some may be "sensitive" to the thought of revealing this to just anyone (especially the S. O. :D).

So here's the gig: how much have you spent on just modifications to your truck? This can include anything to the engine, drivetrain or body; just not maintenance or repair costs.

[Sorry for the stupid typo , BB wouldn't let me fix it]

edit: forgot the ebrake! +$900

I started listing figuring I'd forget something otherwise... now I need to vote again... seems I was a few grand short.

Holy Cow Batman!

Now there's one heck of a good arguement for keeping it fixed and on the road. If I bought a new one I'd have to start all over again! That's what I keep telling the wife too... it's not that I don't like the new trucks it's that it would take another three years to get it the way I like it!

WooHoo! Seeing as how I'm the moderator and all I get to edit the poll! So my vote is now in there with the big spenders. I swear... . I couldn't read the ballot the first time... can I vote again? Those arrows are soooo confusing...

Stock as a rock!

<font color = blue> My wife really appreciates how "responsive" our truck is..... and I have no intention of disillusioning her either :D:D.

it does add up quickly, and my future list is extensive. So far it's a $4500 tally. I figure i have another 4G to go before i am temporarily satisfied.

Ain't that the truth bro!

I guess I should have added things up before I voted... . Oh Yea... I was using the numbers I show my wife ... Yea thats it !!!!

Too late to go back and change my vote to a higher bracket now...

More qualifications:

Does a NEW transmission count? The old one died and there were several improvements.

How about bigger tires?

Glad I read other's posts, my first stab at it almost DOUBLED!!

LOL..... me to I have only spent a few hundred dollars too. Dam we got a good deal huh Bigsaint.

Revised Bombing $$$$$

I recalculated to what it would cost if I started over and Bombed to the level that I am at now. It is atleast half of what I have spent R&D testing. It also is a lot easier to live with!

Dual Designs package: $5000

RanchHand package: $3000

TST PowerMax2: $750

BD P-N-P: $650

Injectors: $250

Cowl Hood: $750

Stereo: $1000

Fuel Lines: $600

Pac Brake: $550

Mag Hytec: $225

Gauges: $300

Total: $13,075

Including a new injector pump to replace the one all the bombing and lead foot driving wore out ($2200)

Grand Total: $15,275

That's only a couple of hundred less than what I got for the trade in. Glad I pulled most of that stuff off.

Now I get to start all over again with my new truck.

Heck, I'm spending money for goodies and I don't even have the truck yet. I spent 3 hours last night trying to figure where I can plug this Edge EZ into the V-10's ECM! :)
