How much HP will the pump support?

Hello. . I race and play with diesel trucks all the time. My nephew has taken a huge liking to the sport, and I've been watching for a truck to mod for him. How much power can a modded first gen pump off a 92 auto 2wd support? Are they expensive to mod? What is the most power seen with a modded pump? I found a 92 first gen that has potential. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to do a P pump conversion to make pretty big power. I'd like to start him off in the 12-13 second range. All advice is appreciated. .
