how much is a getrag worth ?

I have a 2wd 89 donor that I'm going to use the motor from, but not the transmission. I'm going with an automatic. What is the getrag worth? I have the bellhousing adapter, starter, cluch, pressure plate, and flywheel I also have the column and pedals. I would like to sell it as a package Thanks alot, Ryan

You only waited two hours! Its worth what you can get for it. If a guys got a need and you hit then at the right time it could be good for you. I would love to have a spare but I'm too far to look and or pick up.

I have a spare and as long as I have a running truck that might need it, no way would I sell it.



Guts feathers and all as you are offering it, I would guess 15 to 17 hundred. Not withstanding the fact that that is what I paid for the whole truck that mine came in.



This will be a situation where it isn't worth anything till you find the one who needs it and you go from there. I have found good trades on things I didn't need by swaping with someone who had what I DID need.



Is the 350 rear end a dually and is it a 3:07 and do you plan to use it?

Questions about the getrag:



Was the donor truck running/driving when it was in an accident, or has it been sitting?



How many miles do you think are on it?



What color is the steering column?



Is the getrag trashed or just need to be gone through/rebuilt and reinstalled? Do the existing clutch and pressure plate look like it was abused?



Will you include all the possible bits and pieces, even if they are worn out and will have to be replaced, that go with the getrag? (if a guy is trying to convert from auto rather than have a back up getrag, this would be important)



Do you need the driveshaft, or are you going to shorten/lengthen the existing one?

James the truck is not a dually and did not have 3. 07 gears. I do have a 2nd gen rear end with 3. 73 gears that I'm not using, and willing to sell.



Rich the truck was running fine when it was involved in an accident. I purchased it shortly after the accident. I have had the truck for about 6 months. I was able to drive it on and of the trailer the couple of times I have had to move it. As far as being abused, I dont think it was. I bought it from a elderly man that said the truck only had 122k original miles on it. And by the way, the truck looks and sounds like he was telling the truth. I will include all the possible bits and pieces. I have not gotten rid of any of the parts so everything is still there. As far as the driveshaft I will let it go too if the price is right.

The steering column is black.
