How much fueling will a stock 24valve handle with out hurting the engine ?

I have noticed lately in leval 5x5 on my edge box , not only am I getting the normal black smoke (a good thing) But now am getting some blue smoke to,and it does smell like my amsoil burning. Where can the oil be entering from?

I have 100k on the engine and have most of the bolt on goodies, adding up to around 350 hp but still have a stock hx35 turbo. I would like to increase the injectors up another 100hp and change the turbo, but concerned about hurting the engine.

Where do I draw the line?

IIRC, Joe Donnelly was making 800hp on a stock shortblock. :D

How you drive will have more of an effect than anything. You aren't making full power 100% of the time. These engines are used in spotters that move loaded semi trailers all the time. Those trailers are usually grossing over 50k. Just keep the oil clean and good fuel, and it will still last a longer than maybe the truck body.

If you're blowing blue smoke, it could just as easily be leaking turbo seals as bad rings or valves guides, etc... .

Valve stem seals - is that the same thing as valve guides?? Thought they were made into the head-- Anyway, seals are about 1. 50 a piece from cummins 2 yellow and 2 green for each cylinder.
