How much should they deduct from the Price?

I'm going crazy waiting for the new 2010 2500's to come out :~(

i've been looking at what other trucks simular to the one i want are going for only 09 models...



i found one down the road thats really to my liking :~) if for some reason i don't like the new 2010 models i will be looking for a 09 Like this one,it's the Dark blue with the tan or light kaki strip on Bottom It's a real nice looking truck I picked it apart Everything looks Great doors line up. Bed and cab line up seals around windows look good ETC.....



Only problem with this truck is Some Dummy scratched the crap out of the side right Over the Fuel Door :~( I guess they did it getting fuel cause it looks like the end of the fuel hose scratched it,its like 2 inchs X 2 inchs it looks like a bacwards 7 :~( Talk about Messin up a great looking truck!



this got me to wondering How Much could you get them to come off the Price for something like this ? If you wanted the truck How much do ya think they should Come of the price? they have the Truck Listed for $49,000 it has the 6. 7 CTD only thing i didn't understand was the Write up on their site it says 6. 7 350 Hp and 610 Torque ? isn't this a Type-o it should be 650 Torque shouldn't it ? 610 was the 5. 9 Torque ? right ???



anyway i was wondering what This truck could be had for Money wise with that scratch in the side and it being an 09 model... . Thanks for any info!



and No i don't think they can Buff This out it's to Deep! it's not dented but it's through the paint looks to me. theres white lines showing through the blue paint :~(



What should a Scratched 09 2500 CTD ,SLT,QC,Go for after all the deductions and everything !!! OTD $$$ ??? I'm asking here cause i know some of you guys sale trucks or know friends that Deal and can come up with a pretty good price guess or ideal as to whats a real price for this truck.

First of all don't paint it even if they take something off. That dark blue is tough to match even for a good painter. There is a great chance it will sand and buff out. Can you catch your finger nail easily on the scratch? Unless it is down to the E-Coat it will buff out OK. I would prefer to have a truck with a buffed out scratch and a discount than a repainted truck. If they repaint it they are probably not going to discount it anyway.

It through the clear coat you can feel it with your finger nail pretty good...



Thats what i was thinking about ,a buffed out as good as possible and a great dicount on the truck :~) But it's just something i was pondering :~) That Dark Blue and tan striped bottom make for a Really nice looking truck i can see it from the road driving to and from work :~) I about Broke my neck a few time LOL I really hated seeing those scratchs but Maybe they will make it a Great deal Who knows i will Keep talking to them about it... . they at "Keffer Dodge" Know i'm wanting the 2010 ,2500 CTD I have talked to them several time telling them i will be buying from them or Bennett Dodge In St,Marys Georgia who ever Gives me the best price when the time come!



But i will see the 2010 2500 before i buy anything! I plan to keep this next truck for a Loooonnnnggggg Time It may even be my last truck! I love my bikes :~) I just need one Great truck to Haul them and my boat around and i will be a happy camper :~)

I'm not sure what they would take off. But around here (idaho) the ads for new ctds are saying $15,000 off. I would think that if you research you can easily find a perfect truck for you, brand new for $35,000 or less.

Without a scratch you should be able to pick that up for close to 30K right now. The dealers are hurting so use that to your advantage.

2010 interiors.

If the 2010 HD's interiors are anything like the 2009 1500's, they will have a much nicer interior and way more comfortable seats.

Only the auto equipped 6. 7L's have 650lbs, the manual (G56) equipped CTD's are detunned to 610lbs.

I will Prolly go with a Non-scratched truck! it's not worth the headache or the Missing clear coat from Buffing,I want this truck to Last!and the finish on it!

On the other hand, that un-blemished beauty will take your every last nickle to keep her going and when you want to drive her the most, she'll have a headache. Ask the dealer to pay you to take her off his hands; I'm sure he'd go for it.
