How much to pay for a new 03 in CA?

I am ready to take the plunge! This time it will be a 1 ton Dually and already making plans to bomb, who cares about warranties Oo.





I checked with a few north CA dealers and found the best deal to be $500 above invoice before any rebates to order my version of this awesome truck. My local guys won't go lower then $693 above invoice. Is that about right? It seems there a better deals outside of CA. Can I order a CA truck from an out of state dealer? Is it worth the trouble?

Ohh, by the way out of the 10 dealers I checked I ran into 1 (St... ) ealer. They do exist but the other 90% seem to be pretty close to each other with their offers.

I ordered my 2003' in AZ, 2 weeks ago, wanted the HO model, got it for invoice... . easy to shop on the internet... go to google.com, look up Dodge dealers, send an e-mail with the list of exactly what you want. Tell them you are shopping it around. I had 3 or 4 dealers that said they would sell at invoice... plus I got a 2000. rebate (instead of 0% fin. ) and -500. for joining the farm bureau... . now just waiting... . they say it will be in about May 1st... oh... this is a looooong wait.

If you are looking for a northern Ca dealer, check Autowest Dodge in Roseville, Nike Is the fleet salesman and tell her Harold Scott sent you. She should go close to invoice. $200 over at most! Hope this helps.

If you want to drive a couple hours south, head to Redwood City Dodge in (you guessed it) Redwood City. Jim Povio sold me a '99 Durango and an '03 cummins for $100 over invoice. In fact, I ordered both with no hassle. Check 'em out on the web. I'm a happy customer with 13k on my Ram.

I recently received a fax from him. His usual deal was $99 over invoice. I can't find the fax but it was I believe $ 000. 00 over invoice + whatever rebates if any.

I continued my homework and had 2 dealers offer 150 over and 1 offered 300 over , this dealer is close to home so I went with them.







I ordered my truck today!!! Oo. Oo.

Congrats. What color did you order? I think you are smart to go with someone close to you. Service is usually better from the selling dealer.
