My youngest is 22 and they all think money grows on trees, so I guess they must still think Santa brings all those presents each year :)

Are you implying that he is not real? I'm kind of cunfused here. I'm not sure I want to know the answer to this.

What do you mean, stop beliving in Santa Claus? YOu think that's normal or something? You trying to eradicate him or something?

No Santa?

Well thanks you very much Doc for ruining my Christmas day, don't know how I'm going to break this to the wife much less the kids. You scroog.

I believe. I went to bed last night and there was a bunch of stuff under the tree this morning that wasn't there last night. I am at my Father-in-laws house in Houston.

We believe in Santa Klaus aka Saint Nicholas, a bishop who lived 1600 years ago and still gets around better than any of us, at least one day a year. :)

When Sickly can outperform those reindeer, we'll be impressed :)

We have a saying around here that goes like this... IF YOU DON"T BELIEVE, YOU DON"T RECEIVE!!... CJ

P. S. my youngest a 4th grader hasn't bought it for at least a year and a half... . with no help from her older brother... CJ

That's a good question and one I discussed with my wife last night. My oldest daughter is in second grade, still a firm believer. Hope it lasts at least several more years, you just can't beat the looks on their faces on Christmas morning, it makes it all very worthwhile  .

For my middle daughter, it almost stopped Christmas Eve!!!!  ;) . We had returned from my brothers house and it was late. Put everyone to bed and began work on pedal John Deere tractor for my 3 yr. old son. Told the wife I was going to be in our bedroom putting it together since kids (9 yr. and 7 1/2 yr. old daughters plus son) had been drinking soft drinks with dinner and snacks and were not really sleepy when they went to bed. Thay have a habit of wakeing up and wandering around the house.

Well wife had been working in kitchen waiting on me to finish. When she would check on me, she would knock on the bedroom door before entering. I had just finished and was admiring my work when I heard a knock and a whispered "daddy... ... ". I jumped for the door pushing her back out. My wife came running from the kitchen and took her back up stairs. Found out later that she had seen the toy:( :( :( , but wife told her that Santa had stopped by and found her sister still awake. He dropped off that toy but no others and told us (her mom and I) he would come back after everyone was asleep:cool:  . We think it worked, because she told her brother and sister the next morning that she was glad they stayed asleep. She was afraid that Santa would have to keep going if he came back and someone was not asleep. He was very busy you know!!!!.

Strangly my 9 yr. has not asked any questions since last year when she asked me why some presents (expensive electronics) still had the sticker from the price tag on the boxes (no prices just the bar tags). I told her that Santa sometimes has to buy things if lots of kids want them, because the elves can't keep up with all the orders!!!!!!

Hope everyone's day was great!!!!!

You mean??!! Darn right there is a Santa Claus. Look at how we sometimes act, treat our fellow man, disdain spirituality, use profanities, and still we live in the most wonderfull place on earth with more real freedom than any other society. Maybe his name isn't santa, but he sure cares!

No Doubt about it - He' REAL!

He's got to be real. I had stuff under the tree from him. :D

We always told our kids that if they stopped believing in him, there would probably be one less present under the tree..... Don't think any of us will, ever stop believing in him :D

Mine were getting too old and smart for their own good (11 and 12), so this year I "helped" them catch Santa with a hidden video camera. They even camped out in the living room all night. With the camera running, Santa popped right into the room, dropped presents, drank eggnog, and Mom even snuck out for her annual kiss.

Now they have the video proof and are showing the neighbor kids. Guess they didn't know everything after all!
