This the tire support that we built, each of the four trucks are set-up the same way.

Notice that the tire support can be placed on either side of the platform, that way you can always control the tires if the truck is leaning one way or the other. Also take note of the two pieces of angle iron welded to the plate to keep the tires from rolling while handling.

This reminds me of an incident with my oldest son, he was about 12 at the time. I was loading some mounted truck tires in the back of my old Ford highboy and he was giving me crap about being old and weak. So I rolled an old heavy duty 3/8 thick steel, split wheel with a radial 10x22 mounted on it and told him to load it. He tried for about 10 minutes and couldn't, it was funny. I never told him I was loading bias tires mounted on light weight 24. 5 wheels:-laf
