I also found out today that the corporate offices at the company I work for dont like my criminal history, so I am looking for work, now. Preferrably something wtih no bias against felonies with SIS.

"dont like my criminal history"

Have you considered politics? However, from our conversations I think you might not do good there since you seem to know already the meaning of 'is'.

You would starve to death around here shoeing horses but since you have a truck, you might get a route worked up and do good in the western states.

I like the one about spending the lady's money.

Heck, do like me and never settle on anything.

I can offer one serious piece of advise. Find something that doesn't include much work. In the USA, if you sweat for your money, you won't get much of it.

But good luck in what ever you choose.

"... felonies with SIS. " That mean your sister was an accomplice?

Head to the Blue Grass state. Lots o' horses. You don't even have to touch a thoroughbred though. Hard to find a good farrier here for pleasure horses. IF you can get one to show up, they are either drunk, stoned, liars, late, or all of the above. The good ones stay booked solid. We even have a farrier school here, very few swamps and plenty of machine and speed shops!

Plenty of horse farms in Virginia too. There is a very large arena in Lexington (where I-81 & I-64 join) that is always busy with horse shows. The horse crowd begins a little south of there and goes up toward Northern Virginia, through the Charlottesville area and up to Leesburg. And most importantly, no swamps!!... . but don't go to Southeast Virginia, all swamp.

There are lots of horses here in Cape county, even. But only 3 full time horse shoers that I know of. I rodeoed with one, and he is a decent guy. Not sure how good his shoeing is, though. And, if one were good at his trade and willing to travel a little, I think there is lots of money to be made in MO; more further west.

James, I kinda like your idea. I plan to get my CDL in a little while. That way, I will ALWAYS have work options available- people will always need stuff halued or delivered.

Plenty of nags up here too. We also have Vernon Downs and the track at Saratoga(whatever its name is). I don't see too many farrier's trucks around either. If you don't like snow then this won't cut it! Too damm much from Jan. to March.

We do need more 1st genners up here though!
