While this guy is stupid, at least, he is not a Darwin candidate. In retrospect it seem lots of other folks have had problems there and the state killed the repair of the crossing.

All that sais, someday, we have to stop being our brother's keeper.

2 drivers had GPS problems. One car carrier got stuck with the low trailer and a couple others were unsure either suicide or gate malfunction. If you saw the intersection you would wonder how anyone would think it is the road even at night

The truck driver just left and never called anyone

Lord help us. I wish he would have died. Correct me if I am wrong but this happened in California, the most useless state in America!

Driver Follows SatNav Directions Straight Into River

A mini-bus driver has had a nasty surprise after he followed the directions of his satellite navigation system straight into a river. The mini-bus is owned by a Taxi company and the driver was on his way to collect some passengers.

The taxi company said: 'The driver told us he was following his sat nav and, when it told him to carry straight on, he did, even though it was taking him along the river. ' His car was retrieved and his being examined by mechanics.

GPS leads driver into tight spot, stays wedged for three days

by Darren Murph, posted Nov 2nd 2007 at 3:56PM

Every few months, we happen upon yet another story involving a motorist who simply believes that their GPS system would never, ever lead them astray. This go 'round, a Czech lorry driver continued down an incredibly narrow lane at the request of his sat nav, and even though his ginormous camion was clearly too large to make it around the 90-degree turn, he threw common sense to the wind and continued onward. Needless to say, his ride ended up wedged so tightly he couldn't reverse his way out, so he decided to set up shop for three whole days rather than calling for "an expensive weekend rescue. " Interestingly enough, the fellow managed to acquire food after befriending a couple that lived nearby, and while we're sure he uttered Michael Scott's words in a different tongue, we've little doubt that "the machine knows!" was heard by nearby wildlife shortly before this situation turned sour.

WE could get rid of all the idiots by having a GPS that directs you over the nearest cliff I'm sure most of congress would follow it

How about one that administers a basic IQ test at startup. If you fail it self distructs.
