Not bad for girls 8-13 years old. I can't imagine doing that in front of 11,000 people at a Texas-Texas Tech game! And no one whooped it up until they finished the song.

Me too!! And the lack of respect of the occasion of the people, with there arms hanging down to there sides. Looked a couple of the other singers doing the same song, look at the players, they look like Oboma standins. No respect.

I have often said, and this recording reinforces my feeling, that there should be a Grammy for the best recorded rendition of the National Anthem (two categories, vocal and instrumental).



Unfortunately, I rarely agree with me Grammy committee's view of what is really good.





These girls need a bigger audience, how about the Superbowl, Daytona 500, Olympics (hey about using their version iin China this summer for gold metal ceremonies).

Although I HATE that song, I REALLY despise it when the singer turns it into "urban yodeling". There are much better songs to represent our country. Personally, I would prefer Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA", but I reckon that would stir up the muslims and atheists! lol

Dueling Banjo's would eliminate all those that botch the SSB. But then we wouldnt get to hear those that actually can sing and sing it darn good.
