How To Add Links?

Can someone please tell me how to add a link to a post. I guess I'm the village idiot or something but I can't figure it out.

Right above the text field titled "Your Reply" there are buttons in the section titled "vB Code". One of them says "http:/". Click on it, and it will tell you what to do to post a link.
