my II sps 66 is only getting to 40 psi on level 5 of my juice (not hot version). Is screwing in the boost elbow what you do to raise the boost? Would it be better ot shorten the arm, which I wonder would help with the surging at the dreaded 1700 to 2000 rpm under load that i get?

Is 40 psi probably the maximum that i will get with a 100 hp box anyway?

From what I remember the standard Juice/Attitude did not produce above 41psi boost on my Autometer gauge. I agree you need more fuel. Hot Juice upgrade and and EZ stacked will help.

stick some injectors in that baby! That'll help you get the extra fueling and maybe a little mileage. That turbo is good for alot of power, so you have some headroom. Just don't forget about the rest of the truck. 450 hp and stock trans is a recipe for disaster! :{

TST and I bet you see the 50lbs you want. And yeah, if your on your stock transmission that is where your money should go, lots of your money. :D

Oh yeah you have a manual, so only quite a bit of your money.

Hasselbach what are you gonna do when your diesel outruns your SRT 10?

Clutch is already slipping pretty bad, so that's the next upgrade.

Yeah, I think I am going to have to put a Paxton or Vortec on the SRT... The diesel is getting too quick now. .

:D :D :-laf , oh boy do tell, please!!

You might also want to check you "Drive Pressures". It they are too high, you are creating unwanted EGT heat. You would be better off to lower your boost to lower your drive pressure, in turn you will lower your EGT's then you can add more fuel.

I didn't know much about this until Lenny at Dynomite Diesel explained and educated me. My drive pressures on a 60# gauge went all the way around the dial to the 2 "o"'s in the word boost at the bottom of the gauge. He told me to remove the Edge Boost Elbow and put the stock one back in. I did so and my drive pressures came down to 52#'s and my boost still stayed at 39 to 40#'s. However my EGT's went down by 60 degrees.

Now I can add more fuel for more power because of the lower EGT's. There is a limit to where boost can work against you.
