Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) How to adjust idle?

Can someone help me? My 12 valve keeps stalling with the AC on as the engine is idling too slow - about 500rpm. I have the 7100 pump and would like to turn up the idle but don't know how. Any advice would be appreciated.

You need a 10mm box end wrench. Find the throttle rod where it connects to the lever on the injection pump. This is toward the rear. Feel around for a screw with a lock nut. Loosen the lock nut with the wrench. Pull the linkage with your left hand so the pressure is off the adjustment screw. Turn the screw with your right hand to set the idle. When you have it set so the idle is 800 RPM in gear with the AC on tighted up the lock nut.
