How to Check Codes on '06

I just bought an '06 last week and the CEL came on yesterday. I did a search on checking codes and can't seem to get it right. I don't know if I was turning the key too far or what. When that didn't work, I held the trip meter reset while I turned the key on and it flashed a series of codes. It doesn't seem like the codes I'm looking for, but here goes.

Any idea what these mean, or help checking codes the right way? thanks

to check your codes put the key in, go to the acc postion (all the way on without starting it) the back one click, do this three times then it will give you your codes on the odometer.

OK got that to work, but it says -done- without any codes. Not sure what that means. On my '02 I would have codes without the CEL, but never the other way around. Thanks for the help

I would get the same thing on my 06 before learning how it's done on the 06 (different than my 03). What SEwing stated is correct. The 'Done' means the scan is completed and there are no codes.



As to what you got in you're first post, again I would get the same thing doing it the '03' way and still have not idea what they mean.

The code may have cleared. Did you fuel prior to the code? Could have been a loose fuel cap... .

I filled up the night before the light came on so that could be it. Maybe I just didn't notice it at 11 pm, although I haven't touched the cap since.
