2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission How to Connect Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge

I have done a search on this subject and not found much. I was wondering if anyone could share how they connected the gage. I just purchased mine and want to do the install this weekend but I need better understanding how to connect it to the VP44 or the Fuel Filter. I know I need an 18" Grease gun hose and one post said to mount sender on fender and Geno's says to mount on Engine block so it vibrates with the engine. I am confused can someone help me out? The gage I purchased was Autometer Cobalt Series. Does anyone have pictures of their install or know of a thread? What other fittings will I need besides the hose? Thank you for your assistance.

Just for Gp, I installed my tapped banjo on the bottom of my fuel filter housing and ran the grease gun hose up to connect to the sending unit. Attaching it to the bottom of the fuel filter housing prevents gauge spikes from the vp44, plus you still get a reading after the fuel filter so you know when it is getting clogged.

I used the tapped banjo placed in the VP44 and had a local hose shop make me a hose with the correct ends on it. Check out my reader's rig gallery for a pic on to show where I mounted the gauge and sending unit. I made the mount for the sending unit from a piece of aluminum using a hacksaw and a drill. I have had it there for 2 years without issues (knock on wood!)
