How to determine Bad Injector- 03 HO

I am told it is difficult to determine which injector is actually bad without a scan tool?



If so, is there a reasonably priced scan tool that will do the job?



Can someone provide name, model and approx price I can expect?

if it has failed on the mechanical side it would be hard to figure out without a rail cap but if it is an electrical failure you would get a code and then it would be easy to figure out with just a multimeter.
